Proxy Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: August 2026

1. Purpose & Scope

GoUndetected provides premium static residential (ISP) IP addresses on our own network. The value of these IPs depends entirely on their reputation: clean, trusted addresses that social platforms treat like a normal home connection. A single customer abusing an IP can get it flagged, blacklisted, or reported — which harms every other customer who shares our network.

To protect that shared reputation, proxy usage is restricted. This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") applies to every GoUndetected proxy subscription and to anyone who uses the credentials, and forms part of our Terms of Service. By purchasing or using a proxy you agree to this Policy.

2. Permitted Use

Our proxies are intended for managing social media accounts — your own accounts or those of clients you are authorized to manage. Typical permitted activity includes:

  • Logging into and operating social media accounts.
  • Posting, messaging, and community management.
  • Legitimate outreach and account automation for accounts you control.
  • Running multiple accounts you are authorized to operate, each on its own dedicated IP.

3. Prohibited Use

You may not use GoUndetected proxies for any of the following. This list is illustrative, not exhaustive:

  • Mass scraping, crawling, harvesting, or high-volume data extraction of any website or service.
  • Spam, unsolicited bulk messaging, or mass account creation.
  • Phishing, fraud, carding, payment abuse, or any financially deceptive activity.
  • Credential stuffing, brute-forcing, account takeover, or unauthorized access to any system.
  • Denial-of-service attacks, port scanning, hacking, or any network attack or intrusion.
  • Distributing malware, exploits, or illegal, infringing, or harmful content.
  • Sharing, sublicensing, or reselling your proxy credentials to third parties.
  • Any activity that generates abuse complaints, DMCA notices, blacklisting, or otherwise damages the reputation of the IP or our network.
  • Anything unlawful in your jurisdiction or the jurisdiction of the target service.

4. Network Reputation & Monitoring

Because our IPs are a shared resource, we monitor proxy traffic at the request level. Our systems automatically detect abusive patterns — spam, mass scraping, brute-force, and network attacks — and can block offending traffic instantly, without prior notice or manual review.

We may also investigate and act on any activity that threatens the health or reputation of the network, including complaints, blacklisting, or unusual traffic, even where it is not explicitly listed above.

5. Enforcement, Suspension & Refunds

Violations of this Policy may result, at our discretion and without prior notice, in:

  • Immediate suspension or termination of the affected proxy or your account.
  • Forfeiture of any fees paid, without refund, for the affected subscription period.
  • Rotation of the affected IP back into our pool and reset of its credentials.
  • Cooperation with law enforcement and disclosure of information where legally required.

You are responsible for all activity conducted through your credentials, including by anyone you allow to use them.

6. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Continued use of the proxies after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent change.
